Nothing beats flavour… and this easy no cook Peri-Peri relish will make you the flavour queen or king amongst your family and friends.
It can be enjoyed with a plate of chips on a lazy Saturday, or even be added to your favourite Nachos for a bit of culinary infusion. If you like your braai (BBQ) this relish could be a great accompaniment to your chicken flatty and could be used as a chunky marinade beforehand. Our favourite method is any place or time where it is shared amongst friends…enjoy!

INGREDIENTS
• 500g African Bird Eye chilli
• 4 to 6 Garlic cloves chopped (use less or more to your liking)
• ¼ cup Basil chopped
• ½ cup Coriander Leaf chopped
• ½ cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil
• ½ cup White Wine Vinegar
• 50ml Fresh Lemon Juice
• The rind of 1 Lemon
• 1 tsp Smoked Paprika
• 2 tsp Salt
• 1 tsp Ground Black Pepper
INSTRUCTIONS
• Deseed 2/3 of the chilli and leave the rest with seeds.
• Blend all the ingredients together until smooth, bottle and refrigerate… simple!!
